If at each node on the map, I had to pick the most appealing adjacent node, without backtracking, I think my route would look something like this: San Francisco => Sacramento => Portland => Seattle => Butte => Billings => Cheyenne => Denver => Albuquerque => Oklahoma City => Little Rock => Memphis => St. Louis => Chicago => ...
